About Hamilton Angus Ranch
Hamilton Angus Ranch is a family run black and red angus seedstock operation based out of Eastern Oregon and Southwest Idaho that began 15 years ago, when we purchased our first registered angus cattle. Since that time, we have worked to add value to our cattle by using both an extensive AI and embryo transfer program in our own herd as well as working with cooperator herds throughout the country. During this time, we have searched the country for females to add to our program that we feel are both genetically and phenotypically ideal for our breeding goals.
We strive to produce cattle that work for cattlemen across the west in various production settings and want our customers to be 100% satisfied with the product we produce. We look forward to working with both current and future customers over the coming years as we continue to grow and expand our herd to produce the best seedstock possible.

Our Breeding Philosophy
Maternal Based, Performance Driven
At Hamilton Angus Ranch we strive to produce cattle that can thrive in various production settings throughout the country. Over the years we have continuously selected cattle for traits that we feel are of most importance to the real-world cattleman. Structural soundness, foot and udder quality, docility, as well as fertility and maternal ability would top that list as our cowherd is expected to perform in the western environment we call home. We aim to do this without sacrificing the performance and carcass traits that have made the angus breed what it is known for today.
The angus cow is the base of our program, and we believe that by producing cattle backed by highly maternal and productive cows we can not only build an exceptional cow herd but produce bulls in the process that work for cattlemen across the country.
