Sitz Logo Plus was our choice of the 2022 fall Sitz bull sale where we were in search of a son from the famed and highley maternal Logo line. We believe this bull to be the most complete Sitz Logo 8148 son on the market when you combine both phenotype and data. He is structurally sound, great footed, with a big hip, added base width, and depth through his flank and middle. We believe Logo Plus will serve as a calving ease bull with abundant growth potential and elite heifer pregnancy and scrotal with WW, YW, HP, and SC all ranking in the top 10% of the breed. Logo Plus has proven to be a docile bull himself and we believe can be used as a foot improver throughout the country. Hamilton Angus has already begun to implement him heavily into our breeding and ET program and are looking forward to getting progeny on the ground. Connealy Clearwater was our pick of the 2022 Connealy Angus Bull sale in Nebraska. We identified Clearwater as a calving ease Confidence Plus son that has an exceptional phenotype and does not sacrifice when it comes to growth and performance with a WW EPD of +73 and YW of +133. His dam Ensa of Conanga 610 is a proven donor in the Connealy herd with 29 progeny on record and has produced several other herd bulls including Connealy Reformed a full brother to Clearwater and a member of the Grimmius Cattle herd bull lineup. Clearwater currently ranks in the top 20% of the angus breed for claw as well as top 1% for angle EPD and we believe will be a foot improver in the angus breed. He posts a $C of 326 and a $M of 103 with 19 other EPDs ranking in the top 25% of the breed.
